This paper reframes the research question of housing by shifting the focus from the optimization of the universal housing types toward an investigation of dwelling as a dynamic, relational and experiential process. The study proposes an integrative conceptual framework based on three theoretical approaches phenomenology (of space), performative architecture and affect theory - each of which contributes distinct insights into the relationship between architecture and dwelling, yet remains insufficient when applied independently. Through their systematic integration, the paper introduces the concept of epistemological lines - text, space, body, time, act and atmosphere - as an analytical tool for examining dwelling beyond static typological logic.
