This paper analyzes the functional and administrative classification of the state road network in the territory of Vojvodina. The research covers all categories of state roads, with a focus on section lengths, pavement type, and compliance with minimum technical standards, primarily carriageway width. The results indicate a high level of technical adequacy of the highest road categories, while local deviations from standards were observed on Class IIa and IIb roads. Overall, the road network of Vojvodina is technically well developed and largely aligned with European practices, with a need for targeted improvements on lower-category roads.
