We propose a research of geoids as real hypersufaces. Moreover, we give adjustment of some classical results on hyperusrfaces to CR submanifolds. Our main focus is to study the properties of second fundamental form which give us information on the shape of a hypersurface. Keywords: geoids, hypersurfaces, shape operator, CR submanifolds.
